After many requests to put the ” secret formula ” of our guacamole on the web site, here it is…
Start by peeling a nice lime or lemon, in Costa Rica we use the local limones, personally I think it helps the flavor.
Put 1.5 tablespoons of the juice in a bowl and add two avocados, save the seed from one and rinse it. Chop them but don’t turn them into paste (mid chunky). Now add one heaping teaspoon of minced garlic, 4 good shakes of garlic powder, two shakes of garlic salt, a pinch of coarse salt (non-iodized), two tablespoons of Sriracha sauce, and 8-10 nice leaves of cilantro chopped up. Blend with passion. Then place in a small bowl putting the seed in the middle, half way down in the guacamole. Place 4 leaves of cilantro across from each other, and in between put 4 nice drops of the Sriracha sauce. Now you will need to find the right chip… round with some salt on it, and enjoy!!
If that doesn’t work for you, then you will just have to come back and fish with me again to taste the best!!
